Nine kitchens, one neighborhood.

Every cook's menu lives under a cuisine passport. Middle Eastern opens into its own countries — the way a home cook would actually describe their food.

For home cooks

Turn your kitchen into a neighborhood favorite.

Anyone preparing and serving food through Homeatry must hold a valid local food business license — it's how we keep every kitchen accountable to neighbors, not just to us.

  • Upload your menu with photos or short videos, organized by cuisine and category.
  • Set your own prices — you control your margins, we just handle payments and discovery.
  • Upload a valid business/food-handler license with its expiration date.
  • We email you 30 days before your license expires, and again if it lapses, so you're never paused unexpectedly.
  • We collect a flat 5% service fee per order — no monthly fees, no listing fees.

Not sure which permit you need?

Most home cooks sell under one of these — requirements vary by state and county, so confirm with your local health department before listing.

MEHKO (Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation)

Available in California and a growing list of other states. Lets you cook and sell directly from your home kitchen, with a cap on daily meals and annual revenue. Apply through your county's Environmental Health Department; typically requires a food handler course, a kitchen self-inspection, and an annual permit fee.

Cottage Food License

Covers non-potentially-hazardous foods (baked goods, jams, dry mixes) made at home, sold directly to consumers. Rules on allowed foods and sales limits vary widely by state.

Standard Food Business License

Required if you cook in a licensed commercial or shared kitchen rather than your home, or if your state doesn't yet allow home-kitchen sales. Involves a health inspection of the facility.

Trust & Safety

Verified licenses. Clear expectations.

License verification

Every cook uploads a food business license with its expiration date before their first listing goes live.

Automatic renewal reminders

We email and notify cooks 30 days before a license expires, and pause new orders if it lapses, until it's renewed.

Buyer & cook reviews

Every completed order can be rated, so good kitchens rise and issues surface quickly to the community.

Please note: Homeatry is a platform that connects independent home cooks with neighbors. Cooks are independent operators responsible for their own food safety, preparation, and licensing. Homeatry is not responsible for the taste, quality, or any health outcomes related to food prepared or consumed through the platform, for either buyers or cooks. Always check with your cook about ingredients and allergens before ordering.

Have a food safety concern?

If you got sick, received spoiled or mishandled food, or noticed an unsafe kitchen practice, report it right away — reports go to our Trust & Safety team and can pause a cook's listing while we look into it.

Report a Concern

Platform security

Checkout runs over encrypted HTTPS connections, payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor, and cooks' license documents are stored separately from public profile data.

We're here to help

Help Center

Support is split by who you are — buyers and cooks run into different questions.

Where's my order?

Message your cook directly from your order thread — pickup and delivery times are coordinated one-on-one.

I have an allergy or dietary restriction.

Check the dietary tags on each listing (High Protein, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, and more), and message the cook before ordering to confirm ingredients.

How do refunds work?

Contact your cook first; if you can't resolve it together, escalate to support@homeatry.com and we'll step in.

How do I report a safety concern?

Use the "Report a Concern" button above, or email safety@homeatry.com — include the order number if you have one.
